Fatal Family Feuds
'Fatal Family Feuds' is a compelling true-crime documentary series that delves into harrowing stories of lethal betrayals and violence within family units — heartbreakingly, cases where the people victims might once have trusted most become their worst enemies. The series examines, in each episode, how deep-rooted disagreements, grudges, inheritance battles, custody disputes and long-standing resentments within families escalate over time — eventually exploding into deadly violence.
Originally produced by Woodcut Media in the UK, the show is available internationally: it streams in the UK and beyond on platforms such as Apple TV, and is also accessible via services like Peacock in the U.S. — making the series reachable to a global true-crime audience.
Covering 10 distinct U.S. cases, the series has built a solid catalog of stories that blend investigative detail, emotional testimony, and real-life consequences.
As a Producer on 'Fatal Family Feuds', I was deeply involved in the creation of the episodes from start to end. My responsibilities included researching each case thoroughly, sourcing archival materials, coordinating and casting interviewees, writing sensitive but probing interview questions, scheduling and managing filming — including scouting and organising U.S. filming locations — and shaping the narrative arc of each episode. Many of the stories we covered had never before been told in documentary form, and a number of episodes include exclusive interviews or previously unreleased assets. This gave victims’ families, detectives, and others directly connected to the cases the opportunity to speak on record, often for the first time.
Working across different U.S. jurisdictions meant liaising closely with local police departments, district attorneys’ offices, and other official bodies to secure access to case files, evidence records, and location permissions — a process requiring respect, discretion, and legal awareness. Through this work, I helped ensure that each episode was handled with sensitivity, respect for contributors, and commitment to truth — while delivering a compelling, fact-based, emotionally resonant viewing experience.
In short, my contribution to 'Fatal Family Feuds' combined rigorous investigative effort, editorial responsibility, logistical coordination, and human-centred storytelling — all aimed at giving voice to those affected by tragic family conflicts, illuminating how domestic disputes can spiral into unimaginable violence, and reminding viewers of the real people behind the headlines.
