Role
Casting Researcher
'Plastic Surgery Undressed' is a frank, eye‑opening documentary‑style series that brings cosmetic surgery out of the shadows — stripping away glamour and hype to reveal the real risks, choices, and human stories behind the decision to go under the knife. Hosted by Vogue Williams and journalist Mobeen Azhar, the show invites “surgery‑seekers” to observe live plastic‑surgery operations via livestream, consult with expert surgeons and medical professionals in real time, and talk directly to people who have undergone similar procedures — or whose surgeries didn’t go to plan.
Across its episodes, 'Plastic Surgery Undressed' tackles the full spectrum — from rhinoplasty and liposculpture to breast surgery, hair transplants and tummy tucks — giving participants (and viewers) a brutally honest look at what cosmetic surgery really involves: not just the transformation, but the decision-making, the complications, the emotional fallout, and the long-term consequences.
By combining expert medical insight, personal testimonies, and unfiltered surgery viewing, the series encourages informed decision‑making — challenging the influence of social media and societal pressure, and offering those considering surgery a chance to see all angles before committing.
I worked as a Casting Researcher, finding participants who were genuinely interested in exploring cosmetic procedures and sharing their experiences on screen. I conducted Zoom interviews to screen and select suitable contributors, ensuring they understood the process and felt comfortable discussing their motivations. Once selected, I coordinated their filming in the studio, supporting them throughout the production and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for what can be a very personal and vulnerable experience.
