'Love Triangle' is a bold, modern‑dating reality show that invites six singles to throw away the usual swipe‑culture rules and instead choose between just two hand‑picked suitors — one who fits their usual “type,” and another chosen to reflect their deeper romantic needs. The twist? They make that decision entirely on the basis of texting only, with no selfies, no photos, no preconceptions — just words and chemistry. After a 48‑hour “text‑only” period, each single picks one match for a blind date; then, if they choose to, they make the dramatic leap of moving in with their chosen match. But the real drama starts when the rejected suitor returns, joining them and forming the titular “love triangle,” forcing everyone to confront jealousy, unexpected emotions, and complicated relationships.

The UK version is produced by Workerbee — part of Banijay UK — under the commission of Channel 4 / E4, adapting a format originally developed by the team behind Married at First Sight Australia (via Endemol Shine Australia and Nine Network).

It first premiered in April 2024 on E4 in the UK.

Since its launch, the show has gained traction quickly: after Channel 4 described the show for its “impressive streaming performance,” it was renewed for a second series.

Episodes air on E4 and are available to stream on the UK’s on‑demand service All 4.

On a personal level — as someone who worked first in casting, then moved into a Story Producer role — I played a key part in shaping the show’s emotional and narrative heart. In casting, I helped find and select contributors whose personalities and backstories could drive strong, authentic storylines. Once filming began, I served as Story Producer, collaborating closely with the welfare team, executive producers, programme directors, and other crew. I wrote daily story notes to support the editing process and often had to rely on my own initiative to guide cast members — building their arc in a way that was compelling, honest, and respectful. My role helped ensure that each episode balanced the unpredictable drama with the real‑life emotional integrity that makes Love Triangle UK more than just a typical dating show.
