From tense highway stand‑offs to desperate chases through cities, suburbs and even swamps, the show delivers “never‑before‑seen footage” alongside firsthand testimony from the law‑enforcement officers who risk everything to bring fugitives to justice — offering a raw, unfiltered window into a world where criminals will stop at nothing to escape.

The series is produced by Arrow Media for Investigation Discovery and continues to attract strong attention internationally — including availability on platforms such as Apple TV / HBO Max (where accessible in UK and other regions) and streaming services associated with ID.

The show quickly gained popularity: according to ID, across its initial run on cable and streaming (ID, Max and discovery+), 'High Speed Chase' attracted more than 5.8 million viewers — enough to make it one of ID’s top‑performing new series of 2023.

As an Assistant Producer on the show, my role was central to shaping how the stories came together: I was responsible for interviewing the police officers at the heart of each chase — capturing their firsthand accounts. I also sourced cases, created and managed filming schedules for teams operating in the U.S., and scouted and secured U.S. locations where the chases and re‑enactments (or footage follow‑ups) could be filmed. My contribution helped ensure that each episode remained grounded in reality while delivering the cinematic intensity that makes 'High Speed Chase' such a compelling watch.
