Fugitive Hunters: Mexico

Project type

Observational Documentary

Date

2025

Role

Associate Producer

'Fugitive Hunters: Mexico' is a tense, high-stakes true-crime series that follows an elite undercover unit in Mexico dedicated to tracking down American fugitives who have fled south of the border to evade justice. Working with intelligence from U.S. agencies including the FBI, DEA and U.S. Marshals — and collaborating closely with Mexican authorities — this task force systematically investigates leads, tracks fugitives across state lines, and apprehends them before they can disappear.

First released in 2025 on the U.S. network A&E, the series (Created by Double Act TV) consists of 12 episodes per its initial run.

For international viewers — including in the UK — the show is available via streaming platforms and on‐demand services, making it accessible to a global true-crime audience.

In my role as an Associate Producer, I was deeply involved in the investigative and logistical side of production. My duties included researching those fugitives who had been caught on camera or otherwise identified, delving into their criminal backgrounds, liaising with U.S. authorities — including police forces and district attorney offices — to verify records, check upcoming court dates, and ensure legal accuracy before filming. I helped secure case material, background documentation, and collaborated in shaping how each case was presented on screen.

My contribution helped ensure that 'Fugitive Hunters: Mexico' stayed grounded in real-world facts while delivering compelling storytelling. By combining rigorous research, cross-border coordination, and responsible production practices, the show presents an unflinching look at how justice can catch up even when fugitives try to hide — and through my work, I helped bring those real stories to light with clarity, respect, and integrity.
